Anyone else's washing machine ruining their clothes?
Comments
-
I've noticed recently that after washing my clothes some of them come out of the machine with tiny holes in them. This morning retrieved a pillow case from the wash and it has a tear in it, so problem would appear to be getting worse!
Thinks...wasn't there something on watchdog a few years ago about a certain brand of washing machine ruining clothes? Can anyone remember? I'll have a think and if more details come to mind I'll let you know.
In the meantime, check inside the drum for ANY sharp edges or protrusions. If you are using a dosing ball check that as well.
Are you using any funny chemicals in the machine such as calgon or whatever?0 -
Do you use fabric conditioner? That often rots clothes, especially cotton. I know you say they look like holes or tears, but cotton goes like this when it starts to rot.
Is the damage appearing in all your clothes or just those of a certain fabric?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
