Hi, I am new to this forum and apologise if this has already been covered elsewhere.
If a claim for PPI is rejected, can I then use a CMC and try again?
Thanks

No.
A CMC sends your complaint to the same place you do. The same people at the bank/firm look at the complaint in the exact same way. Sending in a second envelope is not going to change the outcome. Any second attempt can just refer you to the first complaint outcome.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
A second compliant may even be judged as fraudulant, only enhanced by the likely fabrication that a CMC will submit.

Some CMCs will charge you if you instruct them to complain to a firm that you have already complained to and been rejected as its wasting their time (not that they do much anyway). If you don't' like the rejection go to FOS (within 6 months)0

What a complete crock of ***. Anyone resubmitting a complaint (a before i) is not making a fraudulent (e not a) claim and your assertion that any CMC will 1) take it on when already rejected. 2) Make fraudulent assertions when you have no evidence of 'likely fabrication' is without foundation0 -

No really. Many CMCs use a template letter with a shotgun approach with reasons. If those reasons are not true then that is fraud.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
