Refund from Halfords?

Bought 2 items from Halfords on Tuesday of this week, havent used either and would like to take them back as no longer required, whats my rights on this please?

Seriously, does nobody look at the main MoneySavingExpert.com website any more?Many of us have bought something only to later decide it's unsuitable or not needed and shops are under no obligation to take your goods back, just because you've changed your mind.
But even when you don't have legal rights, plenty of companies do STILL give refunds even if the item isn't faulty. These are mainly high street stores allowing you to simply take back whatever you want within a set timeframe.

Those seem to be for online purchases. It sounds like the OP bought instore - can you point out where their in-store purchase returns info is ?0
