1st quote and prestige insurance

I'd like some advice. I am looking for my first ever home insurance policy (buildings and contents) I have got a lot of quotes and including the search on moneysupermarket.com have found that 1st quote insurance comes out cheapest with prestige identically priced (pretty sure is same company with different name).

I Have found that they offer you the family legal cover for £12 a year mentioned later in the purchasing stages. I don't know whether this is a good price for legal cover.

Mainly now I just would like advice on whether 1st quote insurance are ok/people have heard of/experienced them

Thanks
