Better deal with or without trade-in?
Just wondered if anyone knows; are you likely to get a better deal when buying a nearly new car if you don't have one to trade in?
My car is very old and probably only worth a few hundred pounds, so I know that any main dealership I buy from would not put it on their forecourt, so wouldn't really want it.
I have been intending to try and trade it in, but perhaps I could get a better deal not bothering.
Many thanks.

if no trade in you are likely to get a better deal as you are in a position to use a broker like carwow or drive the deal0

Thanks, but I think these online brokers only sell new cars, whereas I am looking nearly new/pre reg.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
you may find a new one pretty much the same price0

Get a value from WBAC or similar. Then, when you sit down to discuss numbers, subtract that from the non-PX price, and see which gives you the lower cost to change.0
