sportsdirect walking shoes not waterproof

Brought some walking shoes from Sportsdirect and they are not waterproof which makes them useless for walking in the Uk.
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring

Depends on the style/performance of the walking shoe. Some are waterproof, others can be mesh/performance ones where water can dry out easier.The man without a signature.0

What make and model are they, I'll tell you if they were supposed to be waterproof. You can occasionally get Goretex (for example) which has been damaged in the manufacturing process.0
