Just had a call from Seat saying that the finance is still pending and they've asked for more information, they've put the application on hold to speak with me first as they knew I was concerned about a decline! I've decided to just go ahead and see what happens or I will never know, however has tjis ever happened to anyone before? They're calling them tomorrow to see what further info they need for me.

Any feedback would be appreciated, I'd rather they'd just declined it as this is a little stressful with waiting.

Thanks for this. As I lived abroad and worked there for 5 years my current electrol too is only 2 years so I assume this is an issue? Been at my job 7 years, 1 credit account and use it wisely.

I applied for PCP finance at Seat car dealer yesterday and they just called to tell me it's pending further information and checks but couldn't say what... I gather this will be a straight decline or why would it be pending? I will have to wait 12 months now and hope my score and file improves but how am I meant to do this with no bills or credit apart from 1 card paid upto date? Confused.

    Thanks again for your help.

So have you only been back in the country two years? Don't most financiers ask for three years' residency?

Just wondering if this is part of the issue.

I've been back just over two years after working for my current employe abroad helping start the export department not I'm back in the UK full time.

I did think this was an issue and I'm hoping if I leave the applications for credit another 6 months this may help.

    Thank you
