There are other flats in the block which have been privately bought. Do I need a solicitor and conveyancer?

If you can't do it by yourself you'll need a conveyancer. Solicitor's can do the work of a conveyancer but they will charge more for essentially the same service. The conveyancer is specialized in this line of work and they charge less.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

had some wildly varying online quotes for conveyance work.
Can anyone recommend a good value conveyance firm?0 -
I've never really agreed with this policy of selling off publicly/charitably-owned housing (council/HA).Buying a flat with cash from a Housing Association
But I really disapprove of HA's giving buyers the money with which to buy a property.....whatever next....?0
