Buying a flat with cash from a Housing Association

There are other flats in the block which have been privately bought. Do I need a solicitor and conveyancer?

    If you can't do it by yourself you'll need a conveyancer. Solicitor's can do the work of a conveyancer but they will charge more for essentially the same service. The conveyancer is specialized in this line of work and they charge less.

    had some wildly varying online quotes for conveyance work.

    Can anyone recommend a good value conveyance firm?

    I've never really agreed with this policy of selling off publicly/charitably-owned housing (council/HA).

    But I really disapprove of HA's giving buyers the money with which to buy a property.....whatever next....?
