SDP severe disability premium 10 weeks wait and counting for back payment

Can anyone advise me please. I qualified for pip in February. I received the is10 form which I returned. It went missing. I then completed an over the phone form and assessment on the 2nd April. The lady was very nice and did my claim straight away... Awarded me sdp and said i would get a letter and would have the money backdated to my pip application date. I got the 61 added to my ESA a fortnight later... But I am still waiting for the letter and the back payment. It has now been 10 and a half weeks. I have telephoned twice to enquire. The last call I made I was told the back payment was logged on their systems and I would hear by the 5th of May. I have not heard anything since... No letter, no money. I only have a mobile so cannot afford to keep telephoning only to be told the same thing. My question is: if you get sdp, how long did you have to wait for back payment?? Is it common to wait over 10 weeks?? This is really stressing me out now.

Hi, I have recently been awarded SDP. I had a large back payment about two weeks ago and I received it about a week after I posted the form away.

The award was made on the Monday and the money was in my account on the Wednesday.

I would definitely try and phone them if you can and make them aware again that your back payment has not been received.
