Non-convector radiators

It is still possible to buy single panel, non-convector radiators?
The radiator in one of my bedrooms has rusted through at the bottom edge, and needs to be replaced. It's got a seam/ridged top (same at the bottom). I've searched the web, but can't seem to find any that are the same.

You sure a single convector won't fit? I'd be surprised.

Alternatively maybe a designer one from somewhere like best heating? They don't have fins

Stelrad Elite are seam-top radiators. Specify P1 (or Type 10) for single panel no fins. Available from Plumbworld and any plumbers merchant should be able to order.

Convector radiators have a greater heat output than a non-convector radiator of the same size? So if I get a convector radiator as a replacement I should buy a smaller one??

only if you wanna have to alter the pipework, you will prob find the convector is cheaper than the panel anyway,

most of the compact rads (ones with top & side grills) are seamed top just take the grills off
