Applying for multiple current accounts Santander, TSB, Lloyds etc

Has anyone tried and had any luck in applying for more than the permitted number of sole current accounts for Santander 123, TSB Classic Plus and Club Lloyds? As far as I'm aware you are supposed to be only allowed one sole account for each of these except TSB which allows two. When I opened Santander it was a few weeks after they had said you could now only have one not two sole accounts but the lady I spoke to said something along the lines of 'feel free to give it a try you never know' which i did and the 2nd account application went through. Hence wondering whether worth trying for a 3rd one etc.

Lots of people enjoy lots of "luck" opening accounts they shouldn't be entitled to.

And the reason they do so is because they don't boast (too much) about it on here. They may give a hint every now and then, as I've just done, but we can do without the detail being discussed on an open forum.

Indeed, your "luck" (and that of others) will run out very quickly if we end up with a list of all the providers who don't thoroughly implement their published T&Cs.

Thats a good point YorkshireBoy, it would be hard to imagine with modern computer systems that it wouldnt be picked up.
