And by the way, HMRC don't send emails so if you receive any (as most of us has) it is most definitely a scam so delete it.
It's not strictly true: they certainly won't send an unsolicited email, but for some things that you do there may be an email response, for instance, I submitted SA last week and got an email confirming receipt of the submission.0
