The best is not the cheapest.
Plus, recommendations on regulated products is a regulated activity. So, we cant answer that question.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
I agree best does not mean cheapest, but if you are trying to cut down on costs then check out discount brokers.
There's actually a bit about them on MSE's "Cheap Life Insurance" page (can't link as a newbie) - basically, they'll sell you the policy at a flat rate, with no commission added on, meaning it should be cheaper going into the future.
You will have to pay an upfront fee (usually around £25 but Best Price FS do it for £20) but that's all they get as payment, which is only fair really, considering you've received no extra service.
Obviously, the only caveat to this system is you won't receive any advice, but if you know what you want then it's definitely the cheapest way of buying a quality product.
Hope this helps!0
