American Express Contactless and Apple Pay Retailer list:

When Apple pay is released it will only work with Amex cards at locations that accept Amex contactless (For those of you who don't know, not all Amex accepting retailers take Amex contactless).

To try and avoid some confusion and payment failures I'm trying to create list of retailers that do and do not take Amex contactless. I'd appreciate help.

When Apple Pay is released, I'll also add if the retailer accepts contactless payments over the limit via Apple Pay.

Retailers accepting Amex Contactless:

Boots
BP
Costa
M&S
McDonalds (Most)
Post Office
Pret a mange (Only stores with black Ingenico terminal)
Transport for London
Nandos
Weatherspoons
Giraffe
Hotel Chocolate
Spar (Ones that accept Amex)
Tesco (In the ones that accept contactless)
Co-operative (In the ones that accept Amex)
Yo Sushi
GBK
Subway (Ones that accept Amex)

Retailers not accepting Amex contactless:
Asda
Starbucks
W H Smith
Super Drug
Thorntons
Wilkinsons
Poundland (Many Poundlands don't accept contactless at all)
EAT
Cafe Nero

Please let me know if any of these change or you know of other retailers.
