John Lewis online returns - beware!

Expensive clothing purchased from JL via their website for click and collect. I was unable to return to store, sent via Royal Mail, the returns process however is drawn out (they have had my item for 7 working days), not only that, when I emailed and called staff were not helpful and one phone call was around 15 minutes of going round in circles where I asked to make a complaint or receive a call from a manager but was told there was no point as they 'would tell me the same thing'. This is not what I expect from any company but shocked to see this from JL. I browsed several online review sites and it appears I am not the only one. Beware if ordering online, would recommend returning to store for refund to save an problems and bad attitude.

Did you read John Lewis Refunds Policy before you wrote this daft post?
It clearly states that Refunds take up to 14 days to process.When you order goods you agree to JL's Terms and Conditions.
