Tomorite growbag seems worse than others!!!
I bought a Tomorite Tomato growbag (£4.99) and am trying it out in my greenhouse next to cheapo Westland growbags (£1.80) and an expsensive sack of horticultural compost (£8).
So far the Horticultural one is doing the best, with the cheap Westland ones not far behind and the Tomorite one miles behind...
By the way Tomorite/Levington and other brands belong to Scotts Miracle Gro -- no email address anywhere!

Interesting, but we don't know other variables which can affect the outcome, like your water type, which might react differently with the various composts.
Personally, I'd not pay £8 for a bag to grow tomatoes in, as that would make them very expensive, and even a fiver is questionable.
I make my own stuff from basic compost and add slow release ferttilizer + manure, then feed with free comfrey water + Epsom salts if anything looks wrong. It's a very belt & braces approach, but I get way more toms than I can eat.
As a general rule of thumb I'd say buy cheap grow bags and expect to feed, feed, feed....especially with something free.:D0 -
