in Cutting tax
Hi,
Just got my p11d and was curious about my health care.
I make a contribution of £10 towards it each month. This £10 comes out of my wages before tax.
Should this amount (£120) be deducted from the amount the health care cost the company to give me my p11d figure?
Thanks

Has your employer confirmed that the figure on the P11D is the total paid before deduction of your contribution ?0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
House sale OCT 2022 = NOW MORTGAGE FREE 🤗
House purchase completed FEB 2023 🥳🍾 Left work. 🤗

Hi,
Yes the amount is what the premium cost.
I thought I had read somewhere that only net contributions would be deducted from a bik. As mine are gross they wouldn't.
Thanks.0 -
what you have said seems to agree with this:

You may need to get HMRC guidance on this as you stated it is deducted from your (gross) pay before tax. So it appears that you already get tax relief as you do not pay tax on that £100% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Yes I think you are right otherwise I would be getting double tax relief.
Thanks for finding that document.
