Gmail filter for Order / Booking emails

This post is relevant if you want to start using or get more out of Gmail filters, especially for labelling / tagging emails.
Here I'm sharing a Gmail filter that I've had set up for over a year, which tags any order/purchase or booking/reservation email with the label "Purchases" (or whatever you think appropriate) if ANY of the specified keywords are matched in the email.
Having had it in place for some time, the filter has caught & labelled every order or purchase I've transacted online (including bookings / reservations) with nothing slipping through unlabelled or incorrectly labelled, so I'd say it's been successful.
The filter
Matches: ("Order Confirmed" OR "Order Confirmation" OR "Order Received" OR "Order Acknowledged" OR "Order Acknowledgement" OR "Order Reference" OR "Order Number" OR "Order ID" OR "Order Ref" OR "Booking Number" OR "Booking Reference" OR "Booking ID" OR "Booking Ref" OR "Booking Confirmed" OR "Booking Confirmation" OR "Confirmation Number" OR "Confirmation Reference" OR "Confirmation ID" OR "Confirmation Ref" OR "Reservation Confirmed" OR "Reservation Confirmation" OR "Reservation Number" OR "Reservation Reference" OR "Reservation ID" OR "Reservation Ref" OR "Order Total" OR "Delivery Address" OR "Billing Address" OR "Invoice Address" OR "Ship To" OR "Bill To" OR "Payment Reference" OR "Payment Number" OR "Payment ID" OR "Receipt Reference" OR "Payment Ref" OR "Receipt Ref" OR "Receipt ID" OR "Receipt Number" OR "Transaction Reference" OR "Transaction ID" OR "Transaction Ref" OR "Transaction Number" -"Amended Order Confirmation") -in:chats
Do this: Apply label "Shopping/Purchases", Never send it to Spam, Never mark it as important, Categorise as Updates

Worth mentioning that Google email filters can be used to forward filtered (or not filtered) emails to multiple other non Google email addresses, this is how I use it.0

I've noticed over the last few days that there's been much less spam hitting our gmail account than before. Used to be that we'd have over 50 messages at least overnight arrive in the spam box, and over a hundred during the day, now it's down to about 20 a day.
My slight concern is that a few genuine messages would sometimes slip through: I've gradually been filtering these NOT to go to spam but I'm sure I'll have missed some.
Has anyone else noticed this? Or just me ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
You get 150 spam messages per DAY!
Who on earth are you giving your email address out to....
I know small businesses with their email displayed on their webpages for all to spam at will who get much less than that.0 -
Also have a look at Google Inbox (a new mail client) - it does some very clever packaging up of groups of emails relevant to a trip, for instance. I'm still getting used to it (it's a public Beta), but it actually seems rather good and powerful, just a different way of working.0
