Interested on which direct debits qualify for the interest on the 123 account....
Anyone know if only having 2 direct debits for my CC accounts will qualify me for the 3% APR?....

That should be fine, with Santander they dont even have to be debited once a month either, once a year is fine.

If you want an alternative use TESCO Internet Saver a/c.

    Cheers

Thanks guys. Oh last time i was logged on here people were asking me about having two 123 accounts. I can confirm i have had two 123 accounts for the last 6 months and got interest on both.

    Cheers.

Not sure that's allowed, just hope they don't check and realise it's you with two accounts

It's not allowed for new accounts, but anyone who got more before the conditions changed will normally be allowed to keep them.

Yep - sure does, but you will get no cashback as I don't think CC DD"s count. You will also need to pay in 500 quid a month, but you can always set up a standing order from a different account in to the 123 account and then set up a standing order on the 123 to send it back again.

That is exactly what I do, works a treat.

Joint accounts can be held by any 2 people, subject to both getting accepted by the bank.

Read up about the risks of current accounts - e.g. being financially linked, handling disagreements, one party clocking up debts etc etc
