Does anyone know if I can get a smashed screen of a kindle fire 6 replaced ?
My husband can do iphones and ipads but i cant seem to find a cheap screen replacment (ebay etc)
Does it have to go back to amazon and if so any idea of how much it should cost?

First thing you should do is contact Amazon support. Not sure about tablets but they are known to offer discounts on e-ink Kindle readers,so they might offer you a refurb Fire at a reduced price.
