I would hate to do that job

Most people would hate it. He gets a kick out of turning up at your house at tea time and demanding the keys in front of your kids. He was an unpleasant boy at school. He hasn't changed.

I don't think they can lift anything, especially if you are in an arrangement. I have found that all our advice places in Northern Ireland, always just advise bankruptcy. no choice

Which was no help to a friend as they had lost their job and on benefits now in ill health, hence problems with credit card debt.:( Lucky they did not own their own home.

So they had to just pay what they could and the debtors accepted.

It is dreadful the way the courts always take the side of the banks.

That's the way it works - you can only take what's there. Have you never had any dealings with bust businesses? "You will receive 18% of the sum owed to you"

At the end of the day, as said if you do not have proof you own each item. They will take it, as they are told to find and take to cover debt.

Your brother needs to get an agreement of some sort to pay a certain amount (what he can afford), each month.
