IF a lender requests bank statements, it is asking for those which show the net income being paid in to verify the dates and amounts shown on payslips.

It will only request statements for other accounts if it can see transactions between accounts on those statements.

You aren't asked "how many current accounts do you have and who with?" by any lender I can think of, so the question of "declaring" such won't come up.

Thanks for the replies. I dont gamble, never have to be honest. The account is simply used to save up for things like fishing equipment, AV and hifi, few games etc.
Declaring it may actually be a small positive. It shows that your finances are organised and that your attitude is to keep a positive sum of money and to spend from that rather than from credit. Plus the amount in your account is a margin which puts you that little bit further from defaulting.

My colleague Today revealed his wife is an underwriter & one of the cases forwarded to her was a guy who had been on "cam sites" quite a bit. Apparently someone (broker? another of her colleagues?) suggested it to be a form of addiction.

Probably best to take youtube, replace "tube" with your favourite 4 letter "p" word and cut out any potential AV addiction claims as unlikely as it may be.
