Switching to M&S for £100?

Hi,
I've a current account that I hardly use, so I've no SO or DD on it. So if I switch to M&S, to qualify for the £100 gift card, do you need to have standing orders or direct debits set up on your old account to switch to M&S to complete the deal?

[FONT=M&SLondon-Regular][FONT=M&SLondon-Regular]If you meet all the following requirements, you will
qualify for the switching offer described in clause 2
below:
a) from 17 February 2015 you must apply for, and
successfully open, an M&S Premium Current
Account or M&S Current Account (“Qualifying
Account”). This means that you must have met
all our identification and address verification
requirements and the account eligibility criteria;
b) within 6 months from the date you opened the
Qualifying Account you must have switched
your account to us using the Current Account
Switch Service. You must complete a full switch
of your old bank account to M&S Bank through
the Current Account Switch Service initiated
through our bank branches or by calling us on
0345 900 0900. Where your Qualifying Account
is a joint account, this requirement must be met
by at least one of the joint account holders;
c) you must be switching your banking to us from
another UK bank or building society, and
d) you must not have previously used the Current
Account Switch Service or submitted a ‘Switching
your standing orders and Direct Debits’ form to
us for either of your M&S current accounts
(whether or not they are currently open) in order
to be eligible for the offe

The answer to your question is in there somewhere, assuming you have the full T&Cs, not just the part you posted.0

I set up an M&S current acount partly for the linked 6% saving account but also for the £100. Alas my very old but still active (just) Cahoot account does not qualify!!

i would double check that, as per the other thread.. perhaps M&S don't have Cahoot on their system, but if it is labelled 'Santander' it might work for you?0

I persevered with moving my Cahoot account to M&S and eventually they agreed and got my £100 gift card today!

Can I just double check that this is still the case? I opened an m&s account last month and am just about to switch my old flex direct account (no dds). I can't see that their terms have changed but under the best accounts page of this website it says:
To get the bonus you must open the account using the links above by 30 September, and fully switch at least two direct debits, using M&S Bank's switching service within six months.
But I can't see that on the m&s site. Is that just for the additional dine in for £10 voucher?0 -

I'm not sure why you can't see it on the m&s site as it only shows the T&Cs for the £10 MSE deal. I complained to them via email about it.
Edit: seems they've reverted to the old T&Cs again now, good. Very quick reply to my feedback  (presume others also sent the same feedback)
Normal application = £100 voucher, no DDs
MSE application = £110 vouchers, 2 DDsMortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
Cashback sites: £900 | £30k in 2016: £30,300 (101%)0 -
Thank you! :beer:0
