Is it wrong to take a free lunch when I don't need it?

Sounds a bit cheap to me! Why don't you just make a donation WITHOUT taking the free food?
But then again I suppose it depends on who the food is for. If it's for everyone and anyone then I guess it's no big deal.0 -
I think it’s a great idea and you are paying for the food with your donations anyway. I can’t imagine who your friends are referring to when they talk of people “in real need” – nobody in this country is that desperate for food. We live on next to nothing by making cheap nourishing meals from fresh ingredients and cutting down on things like “going to the pub”.

LOL @ BerryMerry: "Shaving off mould" & "mouldy old veg".
Enjoy your free meal! :-D0 -
There is a clear and correct answer here:
Ask the Hare Krishnas what they think.0 -
How much do you donate?0

Ask the man supplying the meals if he runs out of meals and if some people, who are short of cash, are not getting a meal?
That way you can make an informed decision.
Personally I wouldn't give any money to the awful krisna lot either.0 -

Yes happens in Cardiff too but not Hare Krishna - veg food hot soupy and I pay a pound - only happens on Friday. Not sure everyone donates. I would feel very uncomfortable taking for free.0

It's another made up scenario from the MSE team. It's been a while since I last noticed one though.
