hi all
i have just pulled the carpet of my front room, the floorboards look ok although really dirty, they are a inch thick and there are gaps ion between some of them, if i want presentable wooden floors, do i just hire a machine to sand down the floorboards and fill in the gaps, or is it better lay wooden flooring over the floorboards ?
