Mint - New Application progess

Options
Hi All,

I had a mint cc a year ago, but later was closed as i was not using the card with 0 Balance.

However, I applied for Mint CC 10 days ago to BT 4000 to my M&S CC which is raking up 60 intrest each month. Mint sent me a letter, i had to call them for progressing my application. I've called them and they wanted me to confirm my address and other details. Yesterday, i recieved another letter, asking for original cc or utility bill in order to progress my application.

Can anyone help with why are they doing this? and what are the likely chances of approval of application if you know. I guess some of the forumites may have encountered this type of situation!!!

Thanks for you help.:rotfl:

  • They are probably unable to verify your ID electronically so are asking for paper documents.
    Nothing untoward here.
  • Probably, I'll send them the required docs, wait and see what happens.

  • I don't think they would bother if they were going to decline - so hang in there!
