this chap here http://www.anpr-ltd.com/ does a self ticket system , and according to him can get registered keepers info and pursue people for trespass ,

I find at least 2 of those facts quite amazing , but he is now down on the number of car parks he looks after , so might be happy of your contact

Have you spoken with the other establishment? What is their connection to the driver?

If they are an employee they might be willing to have words. Where I work my employer takes it quite seriously if employees cause a nuisance to local residents. You could try a letter to the vehicles registered keeper through a V8882 request to DVLA, perhaps them knowing your on to them more formally my get the message home...

Oh, she knows we're on to her - the first time she stuffed the note into her pocket and roared out of the car park tooting her horn, the next day she saw me watching her go to her car and had the cheek to wave!

We are a small lawn bowls/social club and she appears to come from the College next door (possibly a lecturer), which has a huge car park. We're right in the centre of town so as you can imagine public parking is very restricted. We'll see how she reacts if she's there today - she'll definitely be blocked in with the number of members expected!

Thanks for the suggestion about the DVLA, that might be the next step if approaching the college doesn't help.

Further to what I mentioned about my employer, the neighbouring town had an expansion to a government body and parking became limited, employees started parking on residential roads to the detriment of residents - although nothing actually illegal in what the drivers were doing. If there is a reputation to uphold, the college may be interested and councils are also often interested in the effects of parking on the locality when considering planning permissions.

Also, does the club retain any legal services? A firm letter to the registered keeper on headed paper pointing out trespass might give them a kick up the a**e, even if it doesn't have any real power. Solicitors would charge but if they are retained by the club anyway it might only be a nominal fee (the firm working for a previous employer would do standard letters for £25).

Thank you for your suggestions neil.net, which I'll pass on to our President.

We'll see what happens over the next day or so and he'll probably first approach the college, then possibly follow up with DVLA/solicitor's letter.

however you are failing to address your problem ,

as soon as / if you contact the driver and instruct them not to park , you will have an empty parking space , this will be then filled by another strange car , and you will have to start again.

the only way to stop this happening , is to fit a physical barrier,

you don,t put a sticker on your front door , saying "do not enter" , you fit a lock!

The space will then be filled by a club member's car - instead of doubling up behind another.

    Get a sign made :
    All day parking £25

Find out what time they arrive, stop the car with a shoulder bag and some tickets and say Hi, welcome, £25 please.
    Or begger off.

PS no parking firm that does self ticketing allows you total control, they reserve the right to use "wardens" to visit and ticket everyone breaking the rules.
I do Contracts, all day every day.

There are two cars that have been identified as not belonging to club members actually, but the other one has come early and left late so nobody's actually seen the driver of the second car.

    OK

Take an obnoxiously unconsented photo of her (not illegal in a public place or your own land) and send it with an angry letter into the local paper. If they're anything like the Worcester News who have literally nothing to report on all the time, they'll jump all over it and she'll get a two page spread.

The club as occupier of the land can purchase the details of the registered keeper of the car from the DVLA for £2.50. Then send a 'cease & desist' letter warning that they are trespassing.
