Reclaiming Lloyds Bank Premier Account charges

Good morning. My husband and I are in the process of writing to Lloyds to reclaim bank charges BUT I have a question. When we got married, in July 2010, my husbands Premier account became our joint account. When phoning Lloyds bank, they have said their records only go back to 2010. We would like to take this claim back further to when Lloyds bank directed my husband to change from his Current Account to a Premier Account circa 2006.

My husband was told to obtain statements pre-2010, he would have to go into his branch (in Newcastle, we live in Kent) BUT the Premier account was set up when we lived in Ealing, London. Would my husband still need to go to his Newcastle branch or Ealing where the account was changed? Thanks in advance.

If the bank has statements on file to be able to generate copies then it does have records.

You do not need any statement copies to make this complaint.

That may be correct about the statements.
but then said i used it in 2003

Which will be on different records.

They are allowed to deduct the cost of the service you have used in retail terms from the redress payable.
