Humax recordings to Hudl 2

Could you copy Humax Fox T2 recordings to a Hudl 2? Maybe via micro HDMI slot and the Humax's USB slot?

AFAIK it's not possible out of the box, but I think I heard of a hack back when I first got mine.....Have a look or ask HERE....The font of all knowledge when it comes to Humax..

Isn't it easier just to torrent stuff like this? So many companies make it hard to access their content it just isn't worth the bother of doing anything else.

Looks to complicated on there. As for torrents, aren't they a bit dodgy? (virus and legality wise?)

A conundrum, I have loads of stuff on my Humax at home but not the time to watch it there. Whereas commuting and away from home I've all the time necessary. It's a little pointless recording anything else on it.

Thanks. But that is a copy to a PC. I want it to a tablet. Or is there such a thing as a USB memory stick converter, to a tablet's micro HDMI slot?

Once you have it on your PC you then transfer it from there to your Hudl. I understand that the Hudl is an Android device, so just connect it via USB cable to your PC and transfer the files as you would do usually. The HDMI port is for video output, not data input.

Thanks, will try that. So the only port left is the charging one: the micro USB.
    Will attempt to use that.

I have an HDR Fox T2 (slightly different box but they're similar) and have used the method described on the hummy.tv site successfully to get vids onto my PC and converted to a format that works on my media player.

If you use a bog standard mp4 codec to convert the video I can't see why you'd have any trouble playing it on a hudl.
