Sloe gin is nice, it has an almondy taste. Get some sloes, wash and stab them with a fork. Put them in a bottle and fill it up with Tesco value gin. I like mine sweet, but it can be as sweet or as dry as you like.
Funny, I put pr*ck them and the site replaced the word with !!!!! lol
Made in the autumn it is perfect for Christmas.
Blackberry's and brandy is nice. Again, I like it sweeter.
For pressies, put whole fruit into a jar and fill it with alcohol, add sugar to taste. Perfect for Christmas gifts.0 -
If you use the "Search this Forum" link (towards the top right of the main listing page) and then click on "Advanced"...
type vodka into the search box and you'll get several threads about different flavoured vodkas.
And these two might be of interest as well...

Any tips for plum alcohol?
We have plum trees heaving with fruit! We've already covered the jam side of things.0 -
Does anyone know how long it is best to store the fruit vodkas before cracking them open? Had a look at the other threads but no one mentioned it. Think these could make a grand christmas present (esp since I have a blackberry bush at the bottom of the garden that is brimming!) but don't know if I put it in with the vodka now whether it would go funny by christmas?Very excited to be marrying my partner in crime for the last 7 years in September 2012 :jNo longer a midlandsfairy... back living in the sunny south!0
