Ebay technical password nightmare

:mad:This is nuts and goes round and round in circles -
basically cant remember original password after the computer automatically pasting in the password for me for years ,logged out - so cant access my account ( remotely ) although I can still list items ( 5 a month ! ) through my Auctiva account - which stores the password automatically ,
Both the Ebay contact for my account and the Auctiva account are linked to a now defunct BTinternet email account that ( I have checked with BT ) it is impossible to access now since we switched from BT Broadband for Sky
so any request for my password from Ebay would / will be sent to a defunct account
More nuts still - I can fully access my Ebay account from an old pc in the loft that remains logged in still - but cannot change the password or contact email from within as this would then ask again for my password - that I cannot supply !
- trying to explain all this to customer service is nigh impossible - Im not good with accents and they are not very good with mine and can barely hear the voice down the line anyway
Can anybody think of anything please ? - my brains got locked now - and I dont have a password for that either !!

As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

I don't think I can. Safari has a nifty password area where you can see them all. Do you have any Apple products as the iPhone and iPad have the same feature?0

Assuming your password is still saved in your browser, you can find what they were in the settings.

Marleyboy You Are A Legend!
Marleyboy speaks sense
marleyboy (total legend)
Marleyboy - You are, indeed, a legend.0 -
You could chat to Ebay (a bit like Facebook messenger) but TBH not sure if passwords talk is permissable if you have already looked into that.0

Marleyboy - youre a legend - cant believe Ive wasted a whole day nearly at this password thing and countless phone calls to BT and Ebay ( the best Ebay could offer was to sling my account after 15 years and 2200 feedback and start again )
- and you sorted it in a couple of lines - cant believe it ,should have posted here first before ringing / chatting to Ebay ,have wasted hours
I owe you my sanity Marleyboy - if ever your in Norwich , let me know !!As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0
