And your sellers? At this point I guess you have not shown any commitment to your purchase as you have not started what you are expecting your buyers to have already done by now!
I dont actually think you have the right to poke into asking about what the have or have not done yet.

I assume that your estate agent qualified the offer before accepting it by asking for either proof of funds or an agreement in principal?
I would say that your buyers instructing a solicitor and starting the mortgage application is showing a commitment. They could just as easily say that they want proof that you have committed by paying for your searches and surveys before they do... which would result in stale mate.
You could go back to one of the other buyers but what's to say that they will be any different.0 -
