As stated really. The laptop must have 8gb of memory, 1TB hard drive and a decent graphics card (for images, not gaming). I would ideally like a 17" screen but realise that 15.6" is going to be more realistic.

Oddly enough I was looking at one of these yesterday, but it was an ex display model about £50 cheaper than this and had obviously been on dosplay for some time.
Has this one got shared graphics or a dedicated graphics card, and does that make much difference?0 -
If you were to look in Web User, you will find that each fortnight, they have a "best buy's" section. They also have a forum. https://www.web-user.co.ukThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The images will look the same whatever graphics card is installed.

Medion (direct) have a 17" to your spec at £449. There is also a £10 off voucher available.
I'm on my second Medion and have been pleased with both. I damaged the first one, but this one (17") is fine and nearly 3 years old.0 -
Well!!! in this amount you will buy laptop with all your required features. In my experience i suggest you Lenovo,Hp and dell laptops, long battery life, perfect for business use, daily use an gaming.0

Refurb (in my experience the refurbs are new) and scatch & dent (the odd small mark) laptops for decent savings.
Also dell have an account on ebay.0 -
This comes back in stock every so often, but as you can imagine, it sells out pretty swiftly
