Cost difference between house and landlords insurance.

I inherited a bungalow, and would be interested to know, what people think the percentage premium difference would be, to living in it myself, or renting it out to a family member.

Bricks and mortar insurance, not contents.

Just a quick guideline, before I go on the comparison sites.

    It will be insurer dependent, just as there are percentage differences when you compare like like for like.

    From experience premiums seem to be similar, however some terms differ (occupancy, excess and endorsements etc) between landlord and owner/occupier policies.
