Barclaycard Statement Dates

Can anybody explain to me how Barclaycard work out their statement dates?
It seems totally random and can be anything from a range of about 5 dates they choose.
I've got 2 DD payments in 1 month as a result of this (28 days apart). I've also missed a £5 Halifax Reward payment in the past (but Barclaycard refunded it).

I'll just add I've got the (ex-Egg) Amex & Visa cashback combo.0

It's not uncommon. Statements dates fluctuate due to capacity, efficiencies and system failures.0

Everyone has a working day of the month that Barclaycard generate your statement. I know for my account, it's the 7th working day of every month, so bank holidays and weekends obviously don't count.
Find when your last statement date was and count how many working days in the month it was generated, then repeat that process every month to find when your statement date will be. Barclaycard don't have a fixed date rather 'X' working day of the month.
My statement has never been late for Barclaycard and its always been on timeHope that helps!

Thanks, I'll try and work it out from previous statements. I might ask them to shift it to a point where it's 1 DD per month either way.0

I've worked out it's the 4th working day. By my calculations 6th working day (or later) should ensure the payment is taken in the following month (and hence ceasing the problems with my Halifax reward £5).0

A quick secure message and they are sorting a move of statement date out. Thanks all.0

Good.
My Barclaycard statement date hovers inside a five day window:
My CapitalOne statement date is always 25th of the month, even Christmas Day. IIRC they've missed the 25th once in about nine years. :rotfl:0
