Gambling debt plan

I am starting to think i was not a full blown gambling addict, but had problems with impulse control on my spending. I am pretty confident I will never gamble again and in all honesty it has not been that hard to stop.
I have noticed, I need to keep close eye on my spending though, as I do have strong urges to waste money on stuff , I could really save for and buy in the future over a period of time.
All the cash going towards the debt at the moment is helping this.0 -
About to close my first credit card, which I have paid off. That leaves 3 credit cards and 2 loans left to pay. The loan payments finish next June, then I should be able to clear the other cards by the end of next year!0

I wouldn't advise hanging around in a bookies if you have had a problem in the past. Why put yourself in that environment?LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.

Paid off my highest interest card, only one of the 3 remaining has interest. I will tackle that first, as the other two are still interest free for 12 months.
I would avoid going near the bookies completely. My main issue was online spending, but I have self excluded from every account.0
