Barclays PPI Issue

Hi,
I received a letter this morning from barclays to a reply about my ppi claim. the letter went as following.

Dear Mrs *******

Your claim has been upheld
I have now finished investigating your claim and agree that we mis-sold you Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) on your credit card on 1 August 2002. I am sorry that this policy was mis-sold, however, we are unable to offer you a refund. We are sorry for delay in our response.

About my decision
I have made my decision after reviewing the information you provided and our internal system evidence.

Based on the evidence I have reviewed about the sale of your PPI policy I am upholding your claim as I agree the PPI policy was mis-sold.

What this means for you
When we uphold a claim about mis-sold PPI we usually offer a refund of the insurance premiums paid, as well as interest on the premiums you paid to date. We also offer an extra 8% interest as statutory compensation.

However, in your case I can confirm that although PPI was included with your credit card no PPI premiums were received. This means that there is nothing to refund to you.

i really don't understand what they mean. They stated they mis sold me PPI however i am not getting no refund. If someone could help clarify this for me and tell me what i could do next. That will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Although you had PPI policy miss sold, you did not pay any premiums.
You only pay premiums if there is a debt to protect.

Because you paid the balance off in full each month, you didn't pay any premiums so there fore no refund.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

As above, if you paid it in full each month, you never paid PPI.
