and I wonder how much they paid the wonderkids at the marketing agency to come up with that little gem (let alone the costs of rebranding everything - banks, stationery etc)?

It's not as if they have much choice in rebranding. You can't really have two banks, as they will be required to be by law, with the exact same name...0
