Enhanced disability premium/Child disability premium???

Hi there,

Just applied for couples income support, and then realised under income support, my partners son who is 5, and receive's middle care dla, may be entitled to the disabled child premium £60.06 per week.

What I would like to know is this....

Will we be awarded this premium, as my partner is the 2nd name on the application, with me being the main applicant?

Or does the income support claim have to be in her name. She can apply for income support, as she 31 weeks pregnant, and gets ca for her son.

Which brings me onto enhanced disability question. If she has to be the main applicant, in order for us to receive child disability premium, would we still get enhanced disability premium, as I would meet the criteria for this, as I receive enhanced pip.

Reading your previous threads I do have you have received some advice about what benefits you are claiming as I see your partner is still receiving Carer's Allowance.
