Credit search position on successful reconsider

Hi,

I just closed 3 credit cards over the past month, leaving just the one as I've been cleaning up my credit file. I then realised the one I had left didn't report to Experian. I'm over half way through a 3 year M&S Loan so I thought I'd apply for their 19 month 0% purchase / 15 month 0% balance transfer cards. I was surprised to be rejected. I did it on-line last week, got the rejection letter on Saturday and rang them up this morning to ask for reconsideration.

I told them I'd just closed a bunch of cards and when the lady looked again she overturned the decision and is sending out the agreement etc for me to sign.

Just wanted to know will this come up as two searches (initial + reconsideration) on my experian file or just the single one. We have reserved a new build due to be ready next March and although we'll be reducing our current mortgage quite a bit (relocating) I want to avoid any potential issues when applying for the new mortgage in Sep / Oct.
