Sent 'request for judgment and reply to admission' form to MCOL on 6th August. Received letter from Barclays Bank re OFT/Bank announcement on 8th August. Have today received letter from MCOL today saying:
With reference to your recent request for Judgment please be advised that this was entered today (9th August 2007) for £854.72 payment FORTHWITH.
Does this mean I am locked in with the Bank announcement or will I get my money? (Hopefully)

It means that Barclays did not put in a late defence so judgment has been awarded in your favour and Barclays should pay you the amount of the judgment immediately or you can enforce the judgment. I would advise you to write to Barclays enclosing a copy of the judgment and asking for a cheque in payment within 7 days.As I am not the Pope or legally qualified I may be wrong so feel free to get a second opinion from a qualified person0 -
