V Festival advice please

I just wanted to say to everyone please dont blame the caterers, ive been a caterer at festivals for over 25 years and we dont earn as much as you all think we do. We pay astronmical rents to trade and here goes a whopping £750 for electricity for 1 burger van. Normally i could run my van for a weekend for £50.I traded at v fest this year and lost thousands even charging the prices i did, and so did many other caterers, we just cant make ends meet with festivals anymore, before long all the caterers will be going bust if they dont put the rents down, and i agree its not fair on the festival goers having to pay high food prices.The money they make on the food and bars virtually pays for most of the festival however us caterers dont get any of it, we work very hard and for extreme hours and in extreme conditions for very little sometimes. So i want to start a campaign up to stop the fat cats making all the money and ripping us off and the festival goer. Iam happy to sell my burgers for £2 PUT THE RENTS DOWN AND STOP CHARGING ASTRONIMICAL PRICES FOR STOCK and give us a chance to serve value for money food and keep your customers happy.
