4 years agi i was diagnosed with cancer I had avisit from my ifa last week when he told me I had critical illness cover I thought it was only life insurance am i too late to make a claim I have no policy documentation but the payment gets paid every month

Get on the phone to the insurance company now - even without a policy document they will be able to advise you whether you have a valid claim.
The direct debit reference number on your bank statement is normally the policy number.

It is unlikely that 4 years is too late. As long as your records still exist and are clear and concise then you should be fine. Your IFA should be able to aid you (as well as being able to answer that question).
