Billed for test calls

if you have had an open reach engineer out to fix a fault on your phone, check your next phone bill. I never make any calls that I have to pay for (only use it at weekends for free calls), on checking my phone bill there were 4 phone calls made on the morning of the engineers visit all to 02085647402 London, costing £2.45 in total these were test calls he made and I have been billed for them. So be aware!

It seem odd that you were charged so much for what looks like a standard London number.

Update, I phoned my service provider who refunded the call charges and agreed they were engineer test call charges.
