Vehicle write off question
Comments
-
A neighbour had their car run into years ago and had to drop the claim because the insurer would only write it off; they are still driving it with the same dent in the wing. Admittedly this one was not cat B, more like cat D.
Cat C likewise, but needs a VIC before a V5C will be reissued or any tax reminders sent.
Cat B cannot be returned to the road, only broken for parts by an authorised breaker.
Cat A must be crushed whole, no parts can be removed.0 -
Thanks everyone for all your input. Looks like the end of the road for that particular vehicle then. Shame0
