Fitting a new Integrated Fridge Freezer..

Hi everyone,
Had various problems with Int. Fridge Freezer....we have a new one being delivered tomorrow from Insurance Company. Unfortunately, the insurance doesn't include removal of old appliance or installation of new appliance.
My question is ,who do we need to carry out this work, a kitchen fitter?
Many thanks.

Is it exactly the same size as the old one?
If so it is a simple job to remove the fixing screws, which will be just at the front edge of the fridge body, pull out the old one, remove plug, plug in new one and secure in place.
Before you start you will need to remove the cabinet doors. Refitting them is probably the most difficult bit, but most appliances come with full instructions.
If you cannot do the work yourself, I suggest a competent joiner, or a kitchen fitter. It is a 2 person job as the appliance will be pretty heavy.0 -
I'm getting mine from John Lewis who also do an install service at extra cost. Do your suppliers not offer an install service or at least a person that does?0

Thanks for the replies,
Yes we asked the people that we bought the app. from and they charge £110.00 approx. but could not guarantee that the installer would be able to fix the cabinet doors onto the F/Freezer!!!
(Something to do with their insurance???)
So we are stuck with having to find someone competent to do the job!!0 -
