I can copy and paste URL links from my hudl2 by pressing and holding a word in the URL until the copy then paste options are displayed above it. However I cannot get this solution to work for text in documents and emails . Pressing on the first word in a block of text to be copied in order to highlight it, simply does not work, let alone selecting a whole block of text. Anyone else had this problem? is there an app i need to download?

I have since read that it might be the fact I was trying to copy and paste from gmail on android which was the problem.

Just tried it on my phone and copying and pasting within gmail works great ..
Are you sure its actual text that your trying to copy ?

Rather than some text in a picture or graphic ?
Some emails come through with the whole mail being one big jpeg (text and picture)
You wouldn't be able to copy text from one of those
