How much do babysitters charge?

Hi, I'm wanting to do a bit of babysitting for some extra money. I'm going to make some flyers for local shops and the library but don't know how much to charge, does anyone know the going rate? Thanks in advance, alm10

No wonder I can't afford to go out! I'm sure people would rather have someone a bit older and you sound very responsible due to your job and training (can you put that in the flyers too? It makes you sound more trustworthy).
