Natwest packaged bank account

Ive done a complaint with Natwest about mis-sold package account. They are currently 7wks in now and only 1 more week to deal with it. They have gathered all the info at 2wks and since then im still waiting for a case handler. Just rung them again now and still no case handler and they only have 1 wk left.

What happens if they dont deal with it by 8wks.

They are really dragging their heals on this.

    The 8 week is a timescale that allows you to go to the FOS but it doesnt mean your complaint will be dealt with within 8 weeks. In most cases yes they will but in areas of widespread complaints, they are taking longer.
    They are really dragging their heals on this.

    Which is understandable given the volume of complaints at present.
