I used the Open Farm Sunday website to choose a farm to visit.
I chose Fir Tree Farm at Crank because of the event highlights and farm features listed however, most were not available.
We were very disappointed, what a shambles.

The Open Farm Sunday website said that there would be;
- Tractor trailer rides but there were none,
- Hosted farm tour but there was none.
- Cows and ponies but there was none.

The farmer must be feeling a little sheepish about this....."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I think your beef should be with the farmer...0

Bizarre.
They have moles-I think you can get them removed..
"Meet and Greet the farm animals of pigs, cows, alpacas, shetland ponies and moles. "
How would you greet a mole?!!
Also
".... Indoor Free Origami (Paper Folding) demos for the chidren making farm animals, vegetables and tractors and local beekeepers with live bees. "0 -
I wonder if they meant 'mules' - but how many farms keep mules?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I had a great time at my local open farm. Think it really depends where you go.0

So you're complaining about a free event hosted by a farmer (who probably has better things to do!). If you were looking for a properly organised event you should have gone to a paying venue. Theres plenty of farm attractions you could visit.
Personally the one we visited was great, no tractor rides and no animals . The farmers young children took us on a tour of the fields and equipment, explaining what was growing etc etc.July Win: Nokia 58000 -
You should have gone to Brookfield0
